Hang on... my head's spinning... only a few posts ago you said:

But now it's suddenly changed to become very, very good?

I'm lost. Doesn't anyone have a map so I can get back to reality, please?

I’m talking about the actual "sound" not the bugs, or the extremely confusing and head damaging user interface, plus the price, it’s still a status symbol amongst pop stars home studios, in the past, certain items of technology gave the people that could afford it an edge, that gap has closed up now, with software, even though I’d much prefer a hardware unit. Software has bloated the price of hardware beyond belief, as it’s not strictly necessary, look at the price of boutique pedals? Eventide have been particularly savvy about getting into that market.

"The Eventide Lush, a selection of reverb algorithms from the H9000 in an affordable package, can you possibly resist it?"
I can just see them coming...

:-|

Hugh, if I had enough cash in the bank right now to not even blink about buying an H9000 I would, it’s fabulous, but unfortunately my TVR is stopping me from doing so.

:D

Like the H9? Or the Space?

I’m actually quite happy with my Valhalla Vintage Verb, and EpicVerb, I’m just lusting after some hardware.

Just seen an H9000 on Thomann "B Stock"

https://www.thomann.de/gb/eventide_h900 ... ImVuIn0%3D

HHHmmm?

If someone’s sent it back that doesn’t look promising.

Could be a billion and one reasons for sending it back, don't read anything into that.

Some people are just weirdly fussy and illogical about things... Perhaps the original purchaser was upset that it didn't have that lovely analogue hum that the H3000 had...

Or the purchaser's significant other found out and went "HOW MUCH!!? It's going back. Now!"

Oh come on, it's got an Ethernet port AND a colour display, they're offering FREE postage, and all for a piffling £5,885!
Or think of it like this: you're not shelling out £5,885, you're actually SAVING around £500 on the new price.
I rest my case (Thon, 12U, lockable).

p.s. Gissajob, Thomann, I can do that!

Bit of a digression, but how are you getting on with the Eventide 2016 rack that you ordered back in late July?

TBH, I haven’t used it much, but it’s fine, there’s not much to say about it, it sounds amazing, couldn’t be easier to use, and seems rock solid.
I’ve got no complaints at all, it’s great at small spaces, and can go really big too, for my ambient stuff. It’s just got "that sound" It does all the things my H3000 couldn’t do, and, it doesn’t hum!
