MOTU have just announced that their 16A, 848 and 10pre units are now capable of sharing, routing and distributing hundreds of audio channels alongside other devices on a Milan AVB network.
MOTU's latest interface features 10 onboard mic preamps along with instrument and line-level connectivity and 128 channels of AVB-based network I/O.
Thanks to Thunderbolt 4 / USB4 connectivity, the 848 is capable of delivering up to 256 channels (128 inputs and 128 outputs) to a macOS, Windows or iOS system.
The refreshed 16A delivers 66 channels of local I/O, boasts onboard 64-channel mixing and effects, includes 128 channels of AVB I/O, and now offers both Thunderbolt 4 and USB 4 connectivity.
