Easter present for Pro Tools users available for download
Digidesign have announced that a new high-resolution EQ plug-in for Pro Tools and Pro Tools LE systems is now available to download from www.digidesign.com. Best of all, it's completely free.
Available in TDM, RTAS and Audio Suite formats, EQ III, part of the Digi Rack series of plug-ins, is a 48-bit parametric EQ which supports sample rates up to 192kHz.
It can function in one-band, four-band and seven-band configurations and, in the latter mode (pictured below), offers five parametric bands with Q, frequency and gain controls, plus separate high- and low-pass filters. The high and low parametric bands can also be switched to act as shelving filters and all seven filters can be individually switched in and out.
