Zero G’s latest release marks the start of a new series of libraries, as well as introducing an all-new engine. Morphology Evolved is the next-generation version of the company’s Morphology instrument, and complements its original sound set with a new synthesis architecture, modern effects processing and an expressive new morphing system.
The new arrival has been built upon the 3.11GB archive of original recordings created for its predecessor by electronic music pioneer Ian Boddy. Said to transform the celebrated sound collection into a deeply interactive synthesis environment, the release retains the core sounds that made the original so popular, but pairs them with new controls and functions designed with today’s composers and sound designers in mind.
Key Features
- New Orbita Engine: A brand new Orbita Engine combines three sample layers with a powerful wavetable synthesizer to create rich hybrid sounds.
- Extensive Source Library: Access to all 301 original Morphology samples featuring dreamlike synth textures, atmospheres and soundscapes.
- Custom Snapshots: 100 curated snapshot presets offer an entirely new way of using the original samples.
- Kontakt 8 Wavetable Synth: Design evolving synth tones using 30 wavetables and advanced synthesis controls.
- Morph Pad Blending: Seamlessly blend between all four sound sources using an expressive X-Y Morph Pad.
- Layer-Based Sound Design: Shape each sample layer independently with filters, tuning, panning, modulation and effects.
