The latest update for Eventide’s renowned units has arrived, delivering a set of four new algorithms that unlock an array of granular-based effects. Available for the H90 and H9000, the new arrivals expand the hardware’s versatile collection of effects, delivering everything from “blooming reverse delays and rhythmic glitchy stutters” to “skittering repeats that morph into unexpected textures”.
What’s Included?
Here’s Eventide’s description of the four new algorithms introduced in the recent update:
- Cosmic Web: Create shimmering granular delays and ambient reverb textures that stretch and bloom.
- Glitch: Combine aliasing, bursts, and pitch jumps for rhythmic, reactive fun.
- GrainMod: Bring movement to your mix with evolving modulation across every grain.
- Stutter: Dial in tight, controlled burst patterns or scatter them loosely across time.
Check out the video below to hear what the new arrivals are capable of.
Compatibility
All four algorithms are available to H90 users and those with the Gen2 DSP version of the H9000; The H9000 with Gen1 DSP supports Cosmic Web and GrainMod.
Availability
The new algorithms are available now, and are free to existing H90 and H9000 users.
