The first expansion kit for BFD v2!
FXpansion have launched JEX, the first expansion kit for BFD v2, the latest version of their virtual drummer software which they released earlier this year. The new kit contains samples of a hand-made Xdrum Xotica drum set (with drums measuring 22, 14, 12, 10 and eight inches) with up to 40 velocity layers, played with wooden sticks, soft mallets and brushes. There’s also a Ludwig Super Sensitive snare drum, from the existing Jazz & Funk expansion pack, which was available for previous versions of BFD. Unusually, there are no cymbals of hi-hats with the kit.
JEX is available as a download only and costs £25 or $50, although discounts are available for users who already have multiple expansion packs.
