ACE Studio 2.0 from Timedomain

All-in-one AI studio software updated

Timedomain have announced that the latest version of their all-in-one AI studio software is now available, and comes kitted out with a whole host of new AI Voices and languages, additional AI Instruments, new Generative Kits, an improved workflow and seamless DAW integration.

For those who aren’t familiar with ACE Studio, the software has been designed to allow users to create vocal parts and instrumentals without traditional recording equipment, instead relying on MIDI data, lyrics and word descriptions. It includes a wide range of royalty-free AI voice models — and provides users with the ability to create custom voice models from their own samples — and promises detailed control over vocal characteristics such as emotion, pitch and timing.

With the launch of version 2.0, the software’s Vocal Synth library now includes over 140 AI Voice Models, with new additions including multi-lingual Rap, Pop, Chanson, Ballad, Kids Choir and Country models. Four more languages have been added, bringing the total count to eight (English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Italian, French and Portuguese), while several artist-made AI Instruments have been added to the Instrument Library, including violins, violas, cellos, saxophones (Bob Magnuson, Carlo Alfonso) trumpet (Xiaochuan Li) and a duduk. New Generative AI Kits include Inspire Me, Music Enhancer and Add a Layer; these new features are not only capable of generating samples, loops and layers, but also help to enhance and refine rough creative ideas.

Some improvements have also been made to the software’s Stem Splitter, Vocal to MIDI and ACE Bridge plug-ins.
