Nitin Sawhney's One ZeroWe're very pleased to be offering a pair of tickets to see Nitin Sawhney's direct-to-disc recording of 'OneZero'.
Resurrecting the highly intricate and high-risk process of cutting records live, Nitin, his excellent nine-piece band and a team of engineers will deliver the full 'OneZero' album directly to production-ready vinyl lacquers. A handful of lucky fans will watch the recording process from the studio’s artist lounge (overlooking the live room), and our lucky winner and a +1 will be among them. This is a rare opportunity to witness, first hand, one of Britain’s most noteworthy artists undertaking a unusual recording process at one of London's most iconic recording studios.
The recordings, featuring a retrospective of Nitin's career to date and selected previews from his forthcoming tenth studio album 'Dystopian Dream' will then be released as a limited edition boxset and standard and deluxe CD editions on Monday, 24th June.
VIP guests will take a studio tour of the Metropolis complex before the recording begins, then watch the entire process from the comfort of Studio A's lounge, which overlooks the live room and is fitted with state of the art audio and visual feeds. There will then be a post-recording Q&A with Nitin.
This promises to be a unique, unpredictable event, and one which Nitin himself has conceived and instigated.
