Acon Digital have just announced that their flagship transparent limiter plug-in — which forms a part of their Mix & Mastering Suite bundle — will be free for anyone to download until 1 March 2026.
Unlike processors that focus on adding ‘character’ or ‘colour’, Limit has been designed with absolute transparency in mind, and promises to deliver precise loudness control without altering the source material’s tone, punch or stereo image. The company say that it maintains its clean sound even when working to high loudness levels, making it suitable for everything from subtle mix-bus control to mastering applications.

Compatibility
Limit is supported on PCs running Windows 10 or higher, and Macs running macOS 10.13 and above. VST, VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available.

Limit is available now, and will be free to download until 1 March 2026. Following the campaign, those who download the plug-in will have the option to upgrade to the full Mix & Mastering Suite or Acoustica, Acon Digital’s comprehensive audio-editing solution.
