Harrison launch LiveTrax 3

Now features DiGiCo console integration

Harrison LiveTrax3 live multitrack recording virtual soundtrack software

Harrison’s live recording and virtual soundcheck software has just reached its third major version, which among other improvements, delivers direct integration with DiGiCo consoles in addition to the existing SSL Live and Allen & Health support.

Designed to provide users with rock‑solid multitrack recording and effortless virtual soundchecks, LiveTrax 3 introduces a whole host of new time-saving features. An all-new Session Creation feature makes it possible to build LiveTrax sessions directly from a DiGiCo console in seconds, automatically aligning track naming and order between the console and software.

LiveTrax 3’s features have been developed in collaboration with leading live sound engineers, and include  include a real-time spectral analyser and phase-correlation meter across all tracks, providing a real-time overview of the frequency response of any channel’s signal. Additionally, input monitoring has been streamlined, and now features a dedicated monitor button on every track.

LiveTrax 3 also benefits from extensive marker functionality and advanced master output controls, along with a resizable Big Clock display and a dedicated Meterbridge window. Users can also monitor important information such as CPU usage, Disk I/O and remaining record time. For efficient storage, direct recording to FLAC format is supported, saving up to 50% of disk space when compared to WAV files, while file protection is enhanced by a System Lock feature that prevents accidental keypresses during recording.

For those who are live streaming their events, LiveTrax 3 now includes a dedicated stereo output designed specifically for streaming applications.

Other new features introduced in LiveTrax3 include:

  • Console channel names now transferred to LiveTrax tracks.
  • When a Snapshot is fired, a marker with the snapshot name is inserted in Live Trax recording.
  • In virtual soundcheck playback, when firing a snapshot, the playback jumps to the marker.
  • Macro control of LiveTrax Transport.
  • Comprehensive keyboard shortcuts.

"Our focus is always on giving DiGiCo users more — more speed, more control and more return from their investment. The integration with LiveTrax 3 simplifies complex workflows, reducing setup time and operational friction while enabling reliable, high-quality capture. For production teams, that means greater efficiency and a stronger return on every show.” - Austin Freshwater, Managing Director, DiGiCo
