Harrison to launch D510ua interface card

500 Series System gains new USB/ADAT interface option

Harrison Audio D510ua 500-series USB ADAT audio interface card

Harrison’s 500 Series System takes a flexible approach to the 500-series format, comprising a 10-slot chassis (the D510r) with a 10x2 analogue summing mixer (the D510mx) and a Dante interface option (the D510dante). We put all three to the test in the June 2025 issue — you can check out our review here.

When the system was originally announced, Harrison stated that a USB/ADAT interface option would appear at a later date, and that time has arrived! Named the D510ua, the latest arrival to the 500 Series System can be installed into the rear panel of the D510r, and allows the unit to function as a USB audio interface with up to 10 analogue inputs, 14 analogue outputs and 16 channels of bi-directional ADAT I/O — a total of 26 inputs and 30 outputs.

With the new card installed, each of the rack’s module slots are equipped with A-D and D-A stages, with an additional set of converters available to feed the headphone mixes on the D510mx summing mixer, if installed. As a result, the system can be used alongside a DAW as a USB audio interface, as well as serving as a way to expand an existing ADAT-equipped interface.
