Arturia unveil the KeyStep 37 Mk2

More keys, buttons & knobs!

Arturia KeyStep 37 Mk2 MIDI controller keyboard

Following on from the launch of the KeyStep 37 Mk2 MIDI controller keyboard, Arturia have announced the release of a 37-note version that pairs the enhanced feature set with a larger keybed.

The KeyStep 37 Mk2 has more physical controls than its sibling, and in addition to the increased key count it offers a pair of additional buttons and four extra knobs for controlling sub-menus, a move which Arturia say drastically enhances its overall playability while delivering the same level of functionality. Users also benefit from additional visual feedback on the compared to the KeyStep Mk2 thanks to a strip of 39 LEDS over the keybed that indicate the notes that are being played.

The refreshed design also includes some changes to the onboard sequencer and arpeggiator, along with some new generative features such as Mutate — a performance control that can be used to quickly apply variations to running sequencer and arpeggiator patterns.

Pricing & Availability

The KeyStep 37 MkII is available now, priced at $199€189.
