Apogee announce Symphony Nova

Desktop four-input audio interface with real-time DSP

Apogee Symphony Nova

Apogee have announced Symphony Nova, a new desktop audio interface combining four high-end analogue microphone inputs with real-time, ARM-powered DSP processing. The interface will be shown publicly for the first time at NAMM 2026, on the shared Apogee / Manley booth (#14508).

Symphony Nova is designed around four microphone inputs, each with its own dedicated DSP path, allowing latency-free processing during recording. Unlike many compact interfaces, all four inputs can be processed simultaneously, making it possible to apply consistent input processing across multiple sources without relying on host-based plug-ins.

Each input channel runs Apogee’s new ECS Channel Strip directly on the onboard DSP. The channel strip includes a newly developed four-band EQ, high-pass and low-pass filters, compression and saturation. In addition to input processing, Symphony Nova provides onboard real-time reverb and delay effects, with all DSP handled entirely in hardware for zero-latency monitoring.

Beyond input processing, Symphony Nova applies real-time speaker correction to all analogue outputs. The system also supports the import of SoundID profiles for headphone correction, allowing monitoring compensation to be handled at the interface level rather than within the DAW.

The interface uses Apogee’s latest AD/DA conversion and microphone preamp design, offering low noise performance and consistent gain across all channels. An onboard ADAT input allows the system to be expanded with additional microphone preamps or converters, while dedicated MIDI In and Out connections provide direct integration with external MIDI hardware.

Pricing & Availability

Symphony Nova carries an MSRP of $1,499 and is expected to begin shipping in early Q2 2026 through authorised Apogee dealers worldwide.

Apogee Electronics will be demonstrating Symphony Nova at NAMM 2026 on booth #14508.
