Apogee announce Symphony I/O MkII Anniversary Edition

Limited to 100 units worldwide

Apogee Symphony I/O MkII Anniversary Edition audio interface analogue digital converter

It’s been almost a decade since Apogee introduced the latest version of their flagship converter and audio interface system, and the company are celebrating the milestone with the launch of a limited-edition version.

The Symphony MkII Anniversary Edition will be subject to a production run of just 100 units worldwide, all of which will be personally signed by Betty Bennett and Bob Clearmountain, and will ship alongside a Limited Apogee History Book. In terms of specs, the limited-edition units remain the same as the standard version (with the exception of a Thunderbolt 3 connection), but come sporting a stylish purple finish that serves as a nod to the company’s earlier products.

"Before founding Apogee, I spent time in studios around the world and quickly realised most gear looked the same: black, silver and completely uninspired. I wanted Apogee products to make a visual statement as bold as their sonic performance. That’s why we introduced purple, a colour that broke with convention and demanded attention. It wasn’t just about standing out; it was about signalling a new standard. With groundbreaking products like the AD500, UV22 and AD8000, we didn’t just change the way gear looked, we elevated the entire digital audio workflow.” - Betty Bennett, CEO, Apogee Electronics
