Apogee introduce Groove Anniversary Edition

Portable DAC & headphone amp updated

Apogee Groove Anniversary Edition portable DAC headphone amp

Apogee are celebrating their upcoming 40th anniversary with the launch of Groove Anniversary Edition, an updated version of their portable DAC and headphone amp. The company say that the new version of the device pays homage to their legacy while introducing some cutting-edge enhancements that promise to deliver an even more exceptional listening experience.

The new version of Groove retains the same ultra-compact form factor as the original, equipped with just Micro USB and 3.5mm mini-jack sockets and a pair of volume buttons — the only visual difference is the addition of a new Anniversary Edition logo. The internal changes are more significant, though, with the new model boasting 32-bit resolution, improved dynamic range and frequency response measurements, and compatibility with high-resolution lossless audio formats used by popular streaming platforms including Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer and Tidal.

The comparison chart below compares the specs of the Anniversary Edition to those of the original Groove.
