Pro Tools 2025.10 has just arrived, delivering a whole host of new features for immersive audio creation, including support for Sony 360 Reality Audio, along with SoundFlow integration and a new selection of free plug-in’s for Avid’s Inner Circle programme.
360 Reality Audio
The update introduces native support for 360 Reality Audio, enabling artists and producers to position sounds all around the listener and place them at the centre of an immersive musical experience. Built on Sony’s object-based 360 Spatial Sound technology, this integration enables seamless 360 Reality Audio content creation directly within a Pro Tools session. Here’s a quick look at what’s included:
Effortless format conversion from Dolby Atmos to 360 Reality Audio, with stems and settings carrying over automatically – users can continue to mix and edit in both formats within the same session.
Included limited versions of the Audio Futures WalkMix Panner and 360RA WalkMix Renderer for Pro Tools Studio and Ultimate subscribers and perpetual license holders with a current Support and Upgrade Plan.
SoundFlow
Industry-leading automation platform SoundFlow has now been officially integrated into Pro Tools. All users now gain access to 1,700+ free pre-built macros, allowing them to automate repetitive actions like bouncing stems, creating tracks and navigating complex sessions.
A new SoundFlow panel has been added to all versions of the DAW, and aims to keep creators ‘in the zone’ by providing quick and easy access to a powerful collection shortcuts. Premium SoundFlow subscribers can unlock deeper functionality, including access to their full macro library, Flows and an AI-powered Session Assistant — a natural language automation tool that understands context and runs complex tasks instantly at the user’s command.
There’s also a new Learn tab that offers interactive tutorials that walk users through key tasks such as audio recording, MIDI editing and navigating the DAW’s UI. Avid say that the hands-on demos make Pro Tools more approachable for new users and faster to master for pros looking to expand their skills.
Inner Circle
Pro Tools 2025.10 also sees some new arrivals join Avid’s Inner Circle Rewards programme. Available to annual Pro Tools subscribers and perpetual customers on active Upgrade Plans, the latest additions to the line-up include:
- Acon Digital Verberate 2: Transparent reverb with realistic spatial simulation.
- Acon Digital DeBleed:Snare: AI-powered snare-bleed removal.
- Nightfox Audio Rendition Lite: MIDI chord/arpeggio plugin for fast songwriting.
- Three Leap Expansions for Kontakt Player: Loops and samples to inspire new ideas.
Other Improvements
Other enhancements delivered by the latest update include improvements to Pro Tools’ Speech-to-Text system, including offline and batch transcriptions, along with a number of GUI updates and MIDI workflow optimisations.
Availability
Pro Tools 2025.10 is available now to all Pro Tools Artist, Studio and Ultimate users with an active subscription, or perpetual license holders with an active Upgrade Plan.
