Plugin Alliance have released a new single-channel version of their Ampeg SVT-VR bass-amp emulation plug-in. The Ampeg SVT-VR is the amp of choice for countless professional bassists, and the full version of Plugin Alliance's recreation emulates every last feature, including its two channels with subtly different EQ options. The new SVT-VR Classic features only the second channel, but carries a reduced price of just $99 compared with the full version's $149 price tag.
