The latest addition to the GIK Acoustics range sees the company update and expand their innovative Portable Isolation Booth (PIB) range, providing users with a quick and easy way to cut back on room sound and capture cleaner, more focused recordings. The PIB V2 delivers high-performance broadband absorption in a freestanding design, while the new PIB Pack takes things a step further, adding a flush-fit ceiling panel that can turn a pair of PIBs into a full vocal booth.
The PIB Pack pairs two PIB V2s with a ceiling panel to create a full freestanding vocal booth.The best-selling Portable Isolation Booth has been treated to a major upgrade. It now features a new recessed plate design for a clean, professional look, while uprated piano hinges and heavy-duty clasps improve the system’s durability and provide improved setup and handling. As always, the PIB V2 is completely freestanding and requires no drilling or permanent fixings.
For those who need maximum isolation, there’s the newly introduced PIB Pack, which combines a pair of PIB V2s with a flush-mount ceiling panel to create a fully enclosed recording space. The company say that the combination offers up to 150% more isolation, taming side and ceiling reflections for a drier, more detailed recording.
As with many of GIK’s products, the PIB V2 is available in a range of different finishes, with users able to choose from an array of different fabric and faceplate options.
