Guilhall School of Music & Drama have announced an upcoming online course led by award-winning British music producer, songwriter, engineer and musician Glen Scott. With a vast discography of work with artists including Craig David, James Morrison and Beverly Knight, Glen will share his experience of working within the music industry for over three decades.
The course, titled In The Studio: Music Production with Glen Scott, will cover all aspects of music production, in addition to audio engineering, song arrangement and writing, instrumentation, arrangements and harmony, recording budgets, planning and execution, and preparing a song for release.
Dates & Times
Delivery will be online, and will take place on Tuesday evenings between 7 and 9pm BST. Course dates are as follows:
27 September, 4, 11, 18, 25 October, 1, 8 and 15 November 2022.
The course is open to anyone aged 18 or over with an interest in music production, and will require basic knowledge of using Logic Pro software. Full details on the course are available on the Guildhall School website.
Pricing & Availability
The course will cost £325 including VAT, and will begin on 27 September 2022. Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended.
