Ian Boddy has been at the forefront of the UK electronic music scene since 1983 when he both performed at the very first UK Electronica Festival in Milton Keynes and released his first vinyl album The Climb.
In 1999 he formed the DiN Label to release not only his own music but that of electronic music composers around the world. Today, DiN has achieved widespread critical acclaim for it's adventurous outlook at the world of electronic music and has seen 39 CD releases.
In addition to the composition and performance of electronic music, Boddy has also built for himself a formidable reputation as a sound designer responsible for producing a highly regarded series of sample CDs & virtual instruments for sampling specialists Time & Space. He now continues this work with his own Waveforms sample CD series of releases.
Those booking tickets in advance will receive, on arrival at The Capstone, a 78 minute DiN sampler disc which features a continuous mix of music especially compiled by Ian Boddy which includes a selection of electronic music from DiN releases 11 - 19 including titles by Ian Boddy, ARC, Subsonic Experience, dbkaos and from collaborations with Robert Rich and Bernhard Wostheinrich. It serves as a perfect introduction to Ian Boddy's DiN label.
