Complete IMSTA's survey and get the chance to win prizes!
The International Music Software Trade Association (IMSTA) have launched an on-line survey that gives music software users the opportunity to voice their opinions on how they think software piracy can and should be tackled.
IMSTA are a not-for-profit organisation who aim to combat the piracy of software “through education, not litigation”, and will share the results of the survey with software companies, to help them better understand the market.
As an incentive to enter the survey, IMSTA have got together with 19 software manufacturers, to offer a pool of prizes from which five winners can each choose a prize. To enter the contest, entrants’ names and email addresses must be submitted, although the survey can be completed anonymously. The winner will be announced at the NAMM show in January 2009.
The survey takes just a few minutes, and you don’t have to answer all the questions if you don’t want to. IMSTA say that they will not share or sell the names and contact details of entrants; they will simply be used for entry to the contest. So, why not head to www.imsta.org/imsta_survey.html and have your say?
