New software for touch-sensitive MIDI controller
The Jazzmutant Lemur touch-sensitive MIDI controller has received an update (www.jazzmutant.com). According to the developers, version two of the Lemur software (in public beta stages at the time of writing), “introduces a brand new script language that opens up a whole new world of possibilities”, such as scrolling of Lemur interfaces and the updating of objects' names from software such as Live (including clip names!).

There are also new objects available to the Lemur user, such as Gesture, which emulates a trackpad, and Breakpoint, a multi-segment envelope editor. Furthermore, project layouts can be streamlined with Tabbed Containers, allowing you to customise different banks of controls for your performances.
For more information, visit the Jazzmutant web site, where you can download the software update from the User Area.
