Bogren Digital have released Krimh Drums, a drum sample library for Kontakt Player which is aimed at producers of modern metal. A collaboration between metal drummer Kerim ‘Krimh’ Lechner (Behemoth, Decapitated, Septicflesh, and Dååth) and renowned producer Jens Bogren (Amon Amarth, Opeth, Arch Enemy), Krimh Drums is filled with hard-hitting samples and equipped with built-in algorithms that aim to add realism to programmed performances and prevent the typical giveaways of programmed drums.
Krimh Drums features a built-in mixer section equipped with range of effects and processing options. The library is also equipped with a comprehensive mixer section which boasts a selection of processing and effects options, allowing users to craft their drum parts with compression, EQ, transient shaping and saturation modelled on vintage FET circuitry and tape machines all from within Kontakt Player. Thanks to Kontakt’s multiple outputs, it’s also possible for users to route each drum to its own individual track within their DAW if preferred.
In addition to the samples and mixing capabilities, Krimh Drums also includes over 100 MIDI grooves and fills that can be dropped into a user’s session to be used as they are, or as a starting point to create a new drum arrangement. In addition to running in Kontakt, TCI files are included for users who own a full licence of Slate’s Trigger 2, allowing the included samples to be used with the popular drum replacement software.

Compatibility
The library runs in Native Instruments’ free Kontakt Player (version 6.6.1 or newer) and is supported on both Windows and Mac (Intel and M1 / M2) platforms. NKS support is also provided, offering advanced integration with Native Instruments’ hardware controllers.
