Toontrack have just announced the launch of the latest addition to their ever-expanding collection of EZKeys MIDI packs, Acoustic Pop Ballads. As its name suggests, the new pack offers alternative approach to the fast-paced sound of modern productions, focusing instead on stripped-back, piano-centric songwriting.
The new pack contains a selection of MIDI files aimed at piano and keyboard parts, all inspired by the sound of modern acoustic pop ballads. There are phrases in 4/4, 3/4 and 6/8, all played with a straight feel by a professional session player and organised into five song-section categories: Intro, Verse, Pre-Chorus, Chorus and Bridge. Toontrack describe the release as “a dynamic collection of basic but ever-so-effective chord progressions, expressive hooks and nostalgic, dreamy and heart-wrenchingly melancholic melodies that are are all brimming with vulnerable nostalgic feels”.
Compatibility
Acoustic Pop Ballads requires a working installation of Toontrack’s EZKeys 1 or EZKeys 2.
