SoundBridge have announced that the latest version of their DAW — which you may recognise from the cover of SOS March 2026! — is now available, and the headline feature is the addition of a powerful new Virtual Collaboration add-on that makes it possible for users anywhere in the world to record and mix in the same session.
Released as a public beta, the new Virtual Collaboration functionality allows users to connect to sessions remotely, with the DAW handling all of the necessary synchronisation behind the scenes. Latency is kept low enough to allow for remote tracking, and as well as being able to record each other, users are also provided with full bi-directional control of the DAW session, plug-ins and audio settings.

Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where double-clicking to detach the Sequencer caused the widget to freeze and become unmovable.
- Fixed an issue where note off messages were not sent on the original MIDI channel when stopping playback.
- Fixed an issue where changing track settings for multiple selected tracks did not work in the Mini Mixer and Mixer.

SoundBridge 3.0.0 is supported on PCs running Windows 10 or above, and Macs running macOS 10.3 and higher.
