The latest Kontakt instrument to join Native Instruments’ ever-growing Komplete collection captures the sound of one of the world’s most adventurous ensembles. The London Contemporary Orchestra are known for scoring award-winning films such as Deadpool & Wolverine, as well as their collaborations with with artists including Radiohead, Frank Ocean, Taylor Swift and The Weeknd, and now, their unique sound is available to producers and composers everywhere.
Captured at London’s RAK Studios in partnership with acclaimed engineer Fiona Cruickshank, LCO Producer Strings promises to deliver emotional depth through modern, gritty and glitchy string textures that stray away from the sound of traditional string libraries. The resulting Kontakt instrument has been built around a four-layer sound engine that lets users combine violins, violas and celli with synths sections into new hybrid sounds, as well as taking advantage of unusual articulations like cluster blooms, harmonic flickers and percussive pizzicatos.

Compatibility
LCO Producer Strings runs in either Kontakt or Kontakt Player, and requires versions 8.6.0 or higher, which are supported on PCs running Windows 10 or above, and Macs running macOS 13 and higher. VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available, along with standalone applications.
