Lexicon PCM96 updated

New pitch effects added
A new version of the software for the Lexicon PCM96 hardware reverb processor has been released. Version 3.0.0.7 brings with it improvements that “make the system more stable and reliable”, but also a set of algorithms that give the user new pitch-based effects.

According to Lexicon, the new effects can be used for anything from pitch-shifting spoken voices and doubling vocals, to re-tuning choirs and vocal ensembles, and creating wacky effects. There are also useful presets for correcting the pitch of audio after common video conversions, such as when the sample rate is changed from 44.1kHz to 48kHz.

The new software is available for free from the support pages of the Lexicon Pro web site (click here).
