e-instruments and Native Instruments have announced the launch of an update that brings some powerful new features to the four members of the Cremona Quartet Solo series. With version 2.0 installed, the renowned solo string libraries each gain a new True Vibrato mode that captures professional players performing a range of vibrato techniques in the iconic Auditorium Arvedi in Cremona, Italy.

What's New?

  • 24GB of new sample content (6GB per instrument).
  • Four new NKIs per instrument: True and Flex Vibrato in both stereo and multi-mic versions.
  • True recorded vibrato for Virtuoso, Sustain and Marcato articulations.
  • Reworked legato transitions for enhanced realism.
  • The update ensures full Kontakt 7.10.7 compatibility and backwards compatibility with existing sessions.

Compatibility

Cremona Quartet Solo 2.0 runs in Native Instruments free Kontakt Player or the full version of Kontakt versions 7.10.7 and higher, which are supported on PCs running Windows 10 or above, and Macs running macOS 13 or higher. VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available, along with a standalone application. 

Pricing & Availability

CremonaCremona Quartet Solo 2.0 is available now via Native Instruments’ Native Access application. The update is free to existing users.
