ME Geithein have announced the latest version of their small-format monitors, which they say go beyond a simple product refresh and benefit from a complete redesign that helps them surpass their predecessor in both performance and functionality.
The MO-1 MkII still fulfil the same role, offering a compact, high-quality solution that’s well suited to applications such as broadcast vans and compact studios, or taking on the role of surround and height speakers in surround and immersive audio rigs. They share the same coaxial design as the rest of the company’s active monitor range, and are now powered by a powerful PWM amplifer that utilises a switched-mode power supply, as well as offering some built-in DSP that provides users with configurable filters and adjustable time-delay capbilities. Another major addition is the (optional) inclusion of Dante and AES67 connectivity via an onboard network switch, and a second analogue XLR input with the ability to sum stereo input signals to mono.
