MOTU release 64-bit drivers

Firewire and USB 2.0 interfaces get x64 capabilities

MOTU have released new drivers for their range of external audio interfaces, allowing 64-bit operation under Windows XP Pro x64.

There are new drivers for all of MOTU's Firewire and USB 2.0 interfaces, including the new Ultralite, the Traveller and both the MkI and MkII 828 Firewire units.

The updates include 32-bit emulation so users can use their hardware with 64- and 32-bit applications simultaneously. Updated drivers will be shipped with new products and are available to download from www.motu.com/download for existing users.

MOTU are also developing 64-bit support for their PCI-X and PCI Express interfaces along with their entire range of USB MIDI interfaces. These are set for release later this year. Check the MOTU web site for the latest news.
