DAW embraces Windows 7 technology
Multitrack Studio 6 has become one of the first DAWs to announce full multi-touch support for Microsoft’s latest Windows 7 operating system.
In addition to the usual mouse and keyboard control, the DAW allows the programme to be controlled by multiple simultaneous touches on the screen. An on-screen keyboard which can played by directly touching the screen is also included. Multitrack Studio Professional costs $69, while Pro Plus — which supports automation, sample rates above 48kHz and bit-rates above 16-bit — costs $119. Those who have bought previous edition after September 1st 2008 can upgrade at no cost, and those upgrading from older version receive large discounts. Visit www.multitrackstudio.com for more information, and check out this video of the touchscreen in action!
