Play instruments now compatible with Pro Tools
Following calls from users, sample giants EastWest have ported their proprietry Play engine, which powers some of their virtual instruments, to the RTAS platform, enabling compatibility with Pro Tools.
Updates that bring RTAS compatibility are free of charge, and can be downloaded from ‘Play updates’ page of the EastWest web site: www.soundsonline-europe.com/updates.php.
The updates are compatible with Macs and PCs, with PC updates available for both 32- and 64-bit operating systems. For further information about EastWest Play products, check out EastWest’s web site.
