Rycote, the shockmount specialists whose unique take on shockmount design led to such innovative products as the InVision USM, will be holding an ‘open day’ at their factory later this month. From 10am ’til 3pm on Thursday 10th June, the Rycote factory doors in Stroud, Gloucestershire, will be open to visitors, with staff including Chris Woolf (Technical Consultant), Tim Henson (Mechanical Designer) and Phil Tims (Chief Engineer) on hand to answer any of your questions.
But that’s not all: in addition to the friendly folks from Rycote, the event will also be joined by a panel of experts, some whose names you might just be familiar with: our very own Hugh Robjohns will be in attendance, as will recording engineer, mic expert and SOS forum regular John Willett.
And to further tempt visitors, they’ll also be holding a prize draw, which will see one lucky attendee winning £100 worth of Rycote shockmounts! But even if you don’t win, you’ll be able to get your hands on Rycote’s goodies at a 10 percent discount. For more details, and to book a place, email caroline@rycote.com.
