UK audio school launch course to cater for hobbyists & beginners
The School of Audio Engineering (SAE) have opened applications for a new course that is aimed at beginners and hobbyists. The Home Studio Certificate is designed to “train students in setup and optimisation of any standard home-recording system”, and also provide tuition on techniques for recording, editing, signal processing and mixing.
The course will be taught at SAE’s London, Liverpool and Glasgow campuses, with lectures and seminars held in evenings and at weekends to fit around students’ work schedules.
The course costs £995 if taken in Glasgow or Liverpool, and £1490 at the London site, and there are no entry requirements, just a minimum age limit of 17.
