Silen Audio have announced the release of Infinite Flow, a new polyphonic software synthesizer which they say offers infinite music creation, expression and sound exploration possibilities.
Infinite Flow is an eight-voice instrument equipped with seven oscillators and a pair of filters that draw their inspiration from classic analogue designs. The company captured the sound of 12 classic instruments during development, and have made the models available as options within the software.
Much of the instrument’s character is provided by its emphasis on per-voice variation: each voice can be independently de-tuned to mimic the imperfections present in many vintage instruments, for example. The behaviour also extends to the modulation system, which again is capable of operating on a per-voice basis.
Further processing can be applied to patches using a selection of built-in effects. There is a Saturation module with four different modes, Chorus and Flutter sections that provide a number of wave shape choices, along with dedicated Delay and Reverb modules.
Compatibility
Infinite Flow is supported on Windows and Mac platforms (non minimum OS requirements specified) and is available in VST3 and AU plug-in formats.
Pricing & Availability
Infinite Flow is available now, priced at $179.99. The company are also offering a rent-to-own plan, which is priced at $9.99 per month.
