Press Release:
SSR London & Definition Group present:
An Educational Evening with Funktion One
Wednesday 27th February, 7pm - SSR London, Camden
We are delighted to announce the next event at SSR London will be a very special evening with Definition Group and Funktion One, renowned designers and manufacturers of some of the highest quality sound reinforcement equipment available.
This educational event is presented as a professional development evening focusing on “quality audio” and will feature guest lectures and demonstrations from both Tony Andrews and John Newsham of Funktion One.
The evening will focus on realising, understanding and actually hearing the real difference between different sound cards, mixing desks, amplifiers and ultimately speaker systems. There will be an opportunity to hear a number of different Funktion One systems on the night while we explore what goes into producing and reinforcing audio signals to the highest standards.
The event will be suitable for industry professionals, audio students and hobbyists alike.
Funktion One's Tony Andrews is sought after the world over as a speaker and has received lifetime achievement awards (amongst others) for his contribution to live sound and speaker design. John Newsham is Tony’s right hand man and has been at Tony’s side throughout the development of what is now considered by most in live concert/nightclub sound circles to be the finest range of speaker systems in the world.
Following the talks and demonstrations there will also be a short Q&A session, allowing you to bring your own thoughts and opinions to the table for discussion.
This event is completely free to attend, however due to limited places we ask that attendees register in advance via the SSR website (below).
