SLEEP Piano from SRM Sounds

Captures Max Richter's Kawai piano

SRM Sounds SLEEP Piano Max Richter Kontakt Player sample library

SRM Sounds have announced the launch of their latest sample library, which captures the sound of the very piano used to compose Max Richter’s seminal work.

Captured at Max’s state-of-the-art Studio Richter Mahr facility, SLEEP Piano is described as a faithful rendition of the family Kawai piano that has been at the centre of many of his renowned compositions. The instrument in question boasts a lively high-frequency response with a “beautiful sustain”, and is said to be the ideal partner for crafting new ideas or capturing humble, unobtrusive performances. It’s been captured with an assortment of high-end mics, providing users with a choice of three signals that offer detailed control over the instrument’s sound character.
