Latest update announced
Steinberg have announced the latest revision of Cubase 4, their DAW software. The main features of version 4.5 include support for Yamaha’s Motif XS-series synthesizers and yje KX range of MIDI controllers, as well as Steinberg’s recently announced MR816 and CC121 hardware products, which have been co-developed with Yamaha. There’s a new media management system, called VST Sound, which replaces Sound Frame, and there’s now full compatibility with Sequel 2 files.
Futhermore, a number of new sample sets and virtual instruments now ship with Cubase, including a Yamaha S90ES grand piano, and the Sequel 2 content set now runs in the DAW software.
