A surprise showing from Steinberg at Superbooth 2019 was their prototype Retrologue hardware version of their VST soft-synth plug-in. What was once a Virtual Anlog Synthsizer is now a real-world physical synth featuring three oscillators, a filter envelope, amp envelope and modulator.
