Although they’re best known for their room-correction software, Sonarworks are also the developer behind SoundID VoiceAI, a powerful voice-changing plug-in that allows users to transform recorded vocals into a wide range of different voices while retaining the natural expression and dynamics of the original recording.
Premium Voices
The plug-in is supplied with a selection of built-in voice models, with users able to add more by purchasing additional premium voice packs. The latest addition to the collection introduces a total of 20 new voices, divided between two expansion packs.
The first of the new voice packs, Rock Voices Expansion Pack, includes 10 professional-grade voices (five male, five female) that have been designed with high-energy genres like rock, metal and cinematic trailers in mind. Built on licensed, ethically sourced material, these presets are said to capture the rasp, power and dynamic range that define live-stage energy and radio-ready grit. The Kids Voices Expansion Pack then delivers 10 authentic children’s vocals (five male, five female) with a natural tone and expressive charm that Sonarworks say makes them an ideal choice for animation educational content, and jingles.

The new voices have been launched alongside a free update that brings the following features to all existing SoundID VoiceAI users:

- Captured Voice Cleanup: Removes background noise before processing, perfect for cleaning phone recordings or quick demo takes.
