Virtual Monitoring PRO is said to be capable of reproducing the exact sonic signature of any room thanks to the inclusion of a USB SoundID in-ear measurement microphone. a step-by-step guide walks users through the process of measuring their room — all that’s needed is access to the space, the included microphone and a pair of over-ear headphones — before creating a personalised profile that recreates the sound of the measured space over headphones.
How It Works

- 2) Set Up Your System: Prepare your over-ear headphones, be present in the room you’ll capture, and connect the SoundID USB binaural in-ear measurement microphone.
- 3) Measure Your Room (unlocks on 11 November 2025): a guided setup process captures how your
- room and speakers interact with your hearing, and it creates your personalised profile.
- 4) Load The profile Into SoundID Reference: Either as a plug-in or system-wide, and mix anywhere with your studio ‘in your headphones’.
