New Modules
SPL have announced a number of new modules for the Rack Pack, their modular outboard audio-processing system.
There are two new passive graphic EQs: one that operates in the full-frequency range (the Full Ranger), and one that is particularly suited to processing vocals, called the Vox Ranger. This operates between 220Hz and 4kHz, so engineers can 'zoom in' and fine tune the sounds in that range.
Also new is a Dynamaxx module, which puts the features of SPL's rackmountable hardware device of the same name in the modular format. Similarly, there's a Transient Designer module, which brings the versatility of the standalone unit to the convenient modular system.
