Acoustic synthesizer to launch in 2026
The prototype of Korg Berlin’s new ‘acoustic synthesizer’ has come a long way since we checked it out at Superbooth 2023. Two years on, the instrument— which is now known as the phase8 — is in the final stages of its development, and should be available to purchase by early 2026. We had a quick chat to Korg Berlin’s CEO and lead designer Tatsuya Takahashi about the latest developments.

Korg Berlin say that the phase8 will launch in early 2026, and although no firm pricing has been set, they’re aiming for under €1000.
