Steinberg announce upgrade and crossgrade deals

Steinberg have announced a number of special upgrade and crossgrade offers for the latest version of Wavelab, available via UK distributors Arbiter Music Technology.

Wavelab 6 is designed for stereo and multi-track audio editing, audio restoration, mastering and CD production.

New features include the sophisticated Spectrum Editor, which offers a sonogram view to help users locate and remove unwanted noise, new pitch-shifting and time-stretching algorithms and Smart Bypass, a new facility which compensates for changes in level introduced by plug-ins.

Wavelab 6 costs £469.99. The upgrade from version 5 costs £69.99, but if you purchased version 5 after the 1st of December 2005, the upgrade will cost only £19.99.

Upgrading from Wavelab 4 costs £129.99, and the upgrade from Wavelab Essential costs £399.99

In terms of crossgrades, users of Apple Soundtrack Pro, BIAS Peak, Sony Soundforge or Magix Samplitude can, equipped with a receipt or proof of purchase, get hold of Wavelab 6 for £249.99. The offer is available via music retailers as well as Arbiter's on-line shop (www.arbitermt.co.uk/shop)

Meanwhile, owners of Steinberg Cubase SX, Cubase SL and Nuendo can also get Wavelab 6 for £249.99, but this time the offer is only available via Arbiter's on-line shop.
