The annual SOS Awards are now underway, and as always, we’re asking readers to help us choose the best pro-audio releases from the last 12 months.

The SOS team went along to Machina Bristronica 2025 to see what’s new, and managed to get some overviews and demos from a handful of the event’s exhibitors.

The MIDI Association have revealed the full list of winners for this year’s MIDI Innovation Awards following a live stream announcement hosted in collaboration with Andrew Huang.

Ahead of Music Expo 25, the show’s organisers have released the first wave of programming and speakers scheduled for this year’s event.

The AES Show 2025 will be taking place between 22 and 25 October 2025 at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center in Long Beach, CA, USA.

The show, which will take place on 14–15 November 2025 at The Midway SF, San Francisco offers two days packed with expert-led workshops, inspiring conversations, hands-on gear demos and opportunities for networking and mentoring.

With the final list of entrants now confirmed, The MIDI Association are inviting the public to cast their votes in this year’s MIDI Innovation Awards.

API have announced that they will be exhibiting their renowned 1608 console at GearFest UK, as well as showing off a range of their outboard gear.
