Only days left to go.
With over 100 brands exhibiting you'll find a massive selection of modular and keyboard synths on show at this two-day event. So, why not join Sound On Sound at Machina Bristronica 2025 Bristol on 27-28th September for a weekend of world class live performances, insightful panel talks and masterclasses, DIY workshops and all the synths you can get your hands on!
SOS will be exhibiting at the show, sponsoring the Discussions Stage and hosting the Designing The Future discussion panel.
Discussion Stage
Sound On Sound Presents Designing The Future: How We Interact With Synthesisers.
SOS Author William J Stokes chairs the talk on the Discussion Stage with Jason Lim (Instruo), Nadia Struiwigh & Robert Jack (Bela)

e-Waste Swap Shop
Why not recycle your old handheld and portable music equipment? Bring your un-needed or potentially broken bits of kit along to the event and leave them on the table for others to pick up. There'll be someone at the e-waste stall who can give some advice on whether a bit of kit may be fixable, potentially giving some pointers to repair it. Or if you don't have time to repair it yourself, you can donate it to the swap shop and let someone else have a go. Strictly portable items only. No giant 88 key synths in flight cases, electronic organs or flat screen TVs!

Satellite Events
Aside from the exhibition on Saturday and Sunday, Machina Bristronica is running a series of satellite events in the run-up to weekend. From the Wednesday through to the Sunday there'll be an exhibition of artworks, sound sculptures and installations by local artists in the Kit Form venue / art gallery over the road from Elevator Sound. The exhibition is called Anima. There's an opening party for that on the Wednesday evening.
On the Thursday evening Gaz Williams and Steve Davis are hosting one of their Rack Records events at local independent cinema The Cube. The event is called Random Modulations and features performances from some of the visiting manufacturers such as Os from Expert Sleepers, ERD from Shakmat, ALX-106 from WMD, Enrica from Making Sound Machines and Finlay Shakespeare from Future Sound Systems.
