New Turbo Max drums from Alesis

Latest electronic kit aimed at beginner drummers

Alesis Turbo Max beginners electronic drum kit

Aimed at aspiring drummers of all ages, the latest addition to Alesis’ extensive product range has been designed to offer a fun entry point into drumming while still delivering some serious pro-level features. The Turbo Max is said to underscores the company’s commitment to making music accessible and enjoyable, delivering everything that newcomers need to learn and develop their skills from day one.

The new arrival has been designed from the ground up with accessibility and versatility in mind, and Alesis say that it offers a great solution for complete beginners as well as catering to those dusting off their sticks and making a return to drumming. Although its compact size makes it an obvious choice for younger players, it also offers a convenient solution to adult drummers who are tight on space but don’t want to compromise on quality, and to producers and multi-instrumentalists who want to add a drum controller to their computer-based setup.

A Turbo Max setup comprises four mesh-headed drums, three cymbals, a drum module loaded with an array of built-in kit sounds and a height adjustable rack, along with full-size kick and hi-hat pedals. The package even includes a drum throne, headphones and a pair of sticks! The mesh heads can be tightened or loosened so that players can adjust the feel of the kit to suit their preferences, while the included module packs in 12 classic and modern drum kits and a total of 110 individual drum sounds. There’s also an integrated Drum Coach feature that includes 20 play-along tracks and a selection of rhythmic exercises.
