VSL’s Duality Strings series offers an intriguing alternative to your average string library, capturing two string sections playing simultaneously — one large ensemble performing in the spacious Stage A of their Vienna Synchron Stage, and a much smaller group in the facility’s more intimate-sounding Stage B. The result allows users to blend seamlessly between two different ensemble sizes, and as the two sections followed the same conductor, VSL have managed to ensure that the likes of articulations and dynamic layers remain consistent when moving between the two contrasting sections.
The series comprises six releases, and now, VSL are offering the whole set at a reduced cost in the form of the Duality Strings Bundle. To celebrate the release, the company are also running a comprehensive Vienna Strings Promotion, with discounts of up to 45% on all Vienna Strings collections including Synchron Series and Studio Series libraries, as well as the entry-level string sections of the Synchron Prime Orchestra and the Big Bang Orchestra.

Duality Strings runs in VSL’s Synchron Player, which is supported on PCs running Windows 10 or 11, and Macs running macOS 10.14 and above. VST, VST3, AU and AAX versions are available.

The new bundle is available now, and is currently (5 March 2026) subject to the following introductory prices:
- Standard Library: $1455€1299 (usually $1903€1699)
- Full Library: $2239€1999 (usually $3023€2699)
Those who already own one or more Duality Strings libraries will be eligible for a personal upgrade discount.
