Techivation’s flagship compressor plug-in has just been treated to a ground-up rebuild that kits it out with some powerful new capabilities. T-Compressor Mk2 introduces a new multi-stage design that allows users to chain up to three sets of independent compressor settings, zero-latency processing, improved saturation modes and more.
Thanks to the new design, T-Compressor Mk2 offers up to three stages of compression that can be navigated using tabs at the top of the GUI. Each stage features its own independent settings, and there are per-stage mix controls for setting up parallel compression, along with gain-reduction meters that offer a visual indication of each stage’s contribution. The tabs can be freely reordered, making it simple to audition different processing chains.
A newly developed engine offers zero-latency operation that’s suitable for tracking and live use, as well as delivering some general improvements to audio quality across the board. Techivation say that they have also made some improvements to the plug-in’s saturation modes that allow them to offer a little more ‘character’.
Compatibility
T-Compressor Mk2 is supported on PCs running Windows 7 or higher, and Macs running macOS 10.13 and above. VST, VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available.
Pricing & Availability
T-Compressor Mk2 is available now, and is being offered at an introductory price of $35 until 20 March 2026, increasing to $59 thereafter. Those who own the original version are eligible for a free upgrade, and it’s also available to those with a Full Access plan.
