Along with a steady stream of new releases, Techivation have recently been revisiting some of the older plug-ins in their ever-growing collection and kitting them out with some new and improved features. T-Warmer Mk2 is the latest processor to get the upgrade treatment, which the company say delivers more musical warmth, body and weight, as well as an improvement in audio quality.
The four effects modes (Phat, Smooth, Hard, Warm) that determine the plug-in’s overall character have been refined, and are said to deliver a more polished character as well as providing users with more precise control over their sound. As before, the plug-in offers precise control over how the plug-in applies saturation to low-frequency content, with Warmth and Frequency controls governing the amount of distortion introduced by the processor and controlling how much of the incoming signal it’s applied to.
All of the usual Techivation extras are still present, including built-in A/B setting comparison, undo/redo functions, up to 8x oversampling and a scaleable user interface.
Compatibility
T-Warmer Mk2 is supported on PCs running Windows 7 or higher, and Macs running macOS 10.13 and above. VST, VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available.

T-Warmer Mk2 is available now, and is being offered at an introductory price of $34 until 25 March 2026, increasing to $49 thereafter.
